Los Pumas are a rugby union side which represents Argentina in rugby union. Argentina played their first international match in 1910 in a 28-3 loss to the British Lions. Their largest ever win was 152-0 against Paraguay in May 2002. Their best ever performance in the World Cup was third in 2007. They play in the annual Rugby Championship with New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.
Lisandro Arbizu holds the record for most appearances with 87. Felipe Contepomi has 628 points the most by any Argentine and Jose Maria Nunez Piossek has the most tries with 30. Argentina are a growing rugby nation and are in the top 10 sides in the world.

The Pumas wear sky blue and white jerseys with white shirts and sky blue socks. Nike currently sponsor their shirts and kit. The Pumas use several home stadiums including the Velez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires and also the River Plate Stadium used by the football club.
