Romelu Lukaku is a Belgian footballer who currently plays for Everton and the Belgium national team. Lukaku began his club career at Belgian club Anderlecht making his professional debut in May 2009. At such a young age, the Belgian was a pivotal player for Anderlecht where he helped the club to win the 2009-10 Belgian Pro League and he was subsequently awarded the 2011 Belgian Ebony Shoe. Lukaku was also the 2009-10 Belgian First Division top scorer.
In August 2011 Lukaku signed for English club Chelsea for £10 million and he was given the number 18 shirt signing a five year deal. Lukaku made is home debut for the club in a 3-1 win over Norwich City coming on for Fernando Torres. Lukaku spent the majority of his first season playing for the reserves. In the summer of 2014, Lukaku signed for Everton after a season long loan move from Chelsea. The Belgian signed a 28 million pound deal for the Everton which was a record transfer fee fro the club.
Lukaku struggled to break through at the London club and he ended up signing a season long loan deal with West Bromwich Albion in the 2012-13 season. He scored his first Premier League goal eight days later on a 3-0 win over Liverpool. His season at the Hawthorns was a prolific one where he netted 17 goals helping the club to finish an impressive 10th place. For the 2013-14 season Lukaku signed a season long loan deal with Everton.
