1. FSV Mainz 05 are a German football club who play in the Bundesliga and they wear red home shirts which are supplied by American sportswear company Nike. The clubs main rivals are Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Kaiserslautern and in the 2010-11 season they finished an impressive place in the league.
Mainz play at home in an all red kit with the away colours of pale blue shirts and socks with white shorts, the red shirt is a recent addition to the German Bundesliga, as recently as 1982 Mainz were German amateur champions.
