Mali are one of the best African football nations as they boast several world class players including Seydou Keita, Mahamadou Diarra, Modibo Maiga, Mohamed Sissoko and Samba Diakite. Mali currently wear an yellow kit with green and red trim with their away kit being all white which are supplied by Airness. In recent years Mali have also had a green home shirt.
Mali play their home games in the easily recognised yellow shirts. Mali's green shirt hasn't yet featured in the World Cup, in fact Mali didn't play their first World Cup qualifier until 2000.

The Mali national football team, nicknamed Les Aigles or The Eagles played their first international match against the Central African Republic in Madagascar on the 13th April 1960 winning 4-3. Mali are one of the lessor known national sides, but have come to prominence with recent performances in the African Nations Cup.
The nation have famously never qualified for the World Cup but have played in several Africa Cup of Nations tournaments with their best result being 2nd in the 1972 Cup.
