Manchester City 24/25 Away Kit
Manchester City had their 2024/25 Puma away inspired by the 1998/99 alternate shirt that they wore in their Playoff victory against Gillingham. What stood out was the yellow stripes pressed against a dark navy base. Accompanying the said design element were the neon-like turquoise borders. Yellow and turquoise then formed a striping look for the sleeve cuffs and the edge of the call.
2023/24 Manchester City Away Shirt
The Cityzens wore a predominantly white Puma away shirt for the 2023/24 season. It had an all-over tonal graphic based on the historical weave patterns of the city. The shirt further draws inspiration from Manchester’s overall industry, from the hard-at-work mills to the busy warehouses. Maroon accents flowed through the collar and sleeve cuffs, while a fiery gold shade highlighted the logos.
2022/23 Manchester City Away Shirt
The club representing the blue half of Manchester brought back a popular away look for 2022/23. For the said season, the Citizens wore a secondary shirt with a red and black striped design, a pattern more synonymous to AC Milan. The said visual already appeared in previous Manchester City away kits, notably in the 2011/12 season, the early part of the 80s, and the cup-winning years of ’69 and ’70. But this year’s red and black alternate outfit had the distinction of being the first Manchester City jersey ever to exhibit diagonal stripes.
2021/22 Manchester City Away Shirt
Manchester City’s Puma away kit for 2021/22 featured a clean white base inspired by the kit maker’s partnership with Citizens Giving and Xylem Inc. in providing clean water access for communities in need. The clean look allowed the teal applications like the sleeve cuffs, upper back mesh border, and the logos, the latter having a touch of a pink gradient for a colour-changing effect, to prominently stand out on the jersey.
2020/21 Manchester City Away Shirt
The 2020-2021 away kit of Manchester City followed its predecessor with the use of black but still set itself apart in terms of the overall look. The kit was produced under the ‘Crafted from Culture’ approach by Puma, with a graphical print that represented such concept. Using a dark denim colour, the said visual formed in front of the main body manifested shapes that were based on the architecture of Manchester, specifically those which were found among the buildings of the Castlefield area. The black kit was made even more stylish thanks to the copper-gold finish of the different stakeholder logos.
