Manchester United currently train at the Trafford Training Centre often referred to as Carrington which is located in Great Manchester. The main building was first opened in 2000 and in 2002 the Academy building was opened. The complex features several rehabilitation areas, medical facilities, basketball courts, gymnasiums, press rooms, and 14 training pitches. The media have dubbed the centre as 'Fortress Carrington'.
Manchester United's training shirts are currently manufactured by Nike and sponsored by DHL. The shirts are commonly coloured in red, white, blue or black to match the clubs home and away colours.
