Norwich City are a football club who play in the Championship after being relegated in the 2013-14 Premier League season. Nicknamed the 'Canaries', Norwich City wear yellow shirts with green trim manufactured by Errea who took over from Xara for the 2011-12 season and are sponsored by Aviva who signed a new contract which extends to the end of the 2015-2016 season. The goalkeeper shirts are black and the away shirts are black with green and yellow trim.
Norwich City Football Club was formed at a meeting held at the Criterion Caf in White Lion Street Norwich, on Tuesday 17th June 1902, they joined the ranks of the professionals in 1905. Norwich play their home games at Carrow Road in Norwich. Previous grounds were in 1902 Newmarket Road and 1908-1935 the Nest, Rosary Road.
