Panathinaikos 23/24 Home Kit

The Panathinaikos 2023/24 adidas home was a green shirt with rich, deep shade for the base and with accents in white (e.g. template extended shoulder stripes and logos). But lighter green was used to illuminate the body’s graphics design, which was a ribbed, honeycomb-like representation of the shamrock. This home was the club’s first from adidas since 2014.

Panathinaikos 23/24 Away Kit

Panathinaikos kept thing simpler with the 2023/24 adidas away shirt relative to their home. With this kit, the club opted for a cleaner, white predominant colour, designed only with green pinstripes. Joining the pinstripes for the secondary colour detailing were the template extended shoulder stripes and the monochromatic logos.

Panathinaikos Home 2022/23 KitPanathinaikos went with a striped look for their 2022/23 Kappa home. The kit make made the central stripe in green a bit wider, limiting the number of vertical stripes in the pattern relative to earlier striped home shirts. Within the confines of the white stripes read a variety of Greek wordings in light grey. The raglan sleeves followed the thematic green but switched to white for the underside and sleeve cuffs.

Based in Athens, Greece Panathinaikos or Panathinaikos Athlitikos Omilos (PAO) play in the Greek Super League. The football team is the oldest part of the sports club and were formed in 1908. The club now play their games in the 16,000-capacity Leoforos Stadium.

The most successful Greek club with 19 league titles, in 1971 Panathinaikos reached the European Cup Final, and are still the only Greek club to do so, but they lost 2-0 to Ajax at Wembley Stadium.

The Panathinaikos crest & colours were first used by the club in 1918 when a Constantinopolitan, Michalis Papazoglou, suggested that the club take the colour green with a three-leafed clover as an emblem, as used by his former club of Chalkidona. The home shirt is all green with white across the top of the sleeves, which they wear with green shorts and socks for home games. Away from the Panathinaikos kit is white socks, shorts and shirt with green on the lower part of the sleeves.
