Pedro Eliezer Rodriguez Ledesma was born on the 28th of July 1987 in Tenerife, Spain. Aged 17, Pedro would be signed by Barcelona before progressing into the senior sides and becoming an integral member of the squad where he spent eight seasons helping the side to win numerous trophies. Becoming one of the most feared wingers in world football due to his electric pace, wicked dribbling, and two-footed ability - Pedro became a high profile transfer target and moved to Chelsea and tackle the Premier league.
The Spanish winger began his career at Barcelona C side where he played two seasons. He played 70 matches scoring 10 goals for the side. He then moved to Barcelona B where he played another two seasons where he netted 17 goals in 55 matches which saw him promoted to first team and make his debut for Barcelona in 2008. He was one of the key players in the 2008-09 campaign where Barcelona won the La Liga title. Pedro played over 300 matches for Barcelona and helped the club to win the 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 La Liga and 2008-09 and 2010-11 UEFA Champions League titles. The 2015/16 season would see Pedro make the switch from Spain to England where he was signed by London based club Chelsea FC for a deal worth £19 million.
Pedro has played for Spain U-21 side playing just two matches before making his senior debut in 2010. He was in the 23 man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He made his debut in a 3-2 win over Saudi Arabia in a friendly. For his country he has won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2012 UEFA EURO Championship in Poland and Ukraine.
