Peru have won the Copa America twice, once in 1939 when they were hosts and again in 1975 when games were played all over the continent.
Famous players to appear in the Peruvian shirt are current Premiership star Nolberto Solano, national top scorer Teofilo Cubillas with 26 goals and Roberto Palacios who with 113 caps is their most capped player.
