Paul Pogba is a French footballer who plays for Manchester United after returning to his boyhood club in the Summer of 2016 for a record breaking fee of €105 million. Also representing the France national football team, Pogba is renowned for his power, skill, creativity, eye for goal, and a penchant for the spectacular.
Born on the 15th of March 1993 Pogba began his professional career at English club Manchester United. Pogba completed his transfer to Manchester United on 6 October 2009 and made his debut with the club's under-18 team on 10 October against Crewe Alexandra in a 2Ã¢â‚¬â€œ1 defeat. On 19 February 2011, Pogba was one of four academy players that earned a promotion to the first-team squad by manager Alex Ferguson ahead of Manchester United's FA Cup fifth round match against Crawley Town.
Pogba opted to switch from the Premier League to Serie A with Juventus after failing to sign a contract extension with Man Utd and subsequently make his first competitive appearance in a Serie A match against Chievo on 22 September 2012 and on 20 October. Since making his debut for the Old Lady, Pogba became one of the club's best and most influential players, gaining the number 10 shirt, and regarded as one of the biggest talents in world football.
