PSG or Paris Saint-Germain are a French Ligue side known for their wear dark blue shirts with red and white, often seen as a stripe down the centre of the shirt. The PSG kits are manufactured by Nike and sponsored by Fly Emirates.
Paris Saint-Germain Home Kit
Paris Saint-Germain were founded in 1970 thanks to the merger between Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain and they first wore a red shirt with white shorts and blue socks. The red shirt remained for the following three seasons and in 1973 fashion designer Daniel Hechter designed the iconic dark blue home shirt with a thick red vertical stripe in the middle.

PSG's deep blue Nike home shirt for 2022/23 featured the bespoke Hechter stripe in reverse, meaning that it had the wide band in white and the borders in red. The iconic design had an interrupted look to give space for the principal sponsor logo. The crest and the Swoosh sat centrally within the upper part of the Hechter, the former positioned above the latter. Nike opted for the sleeve cuffs and round collar to share the same shade of blue.
2021/22 Paris Saint-Germain Home Shirt
The PSG 2021/22 home kit is the first under the Jordan brand after producing only the club's away, third, and fourth shirts in the previous seasons. After a classic rendition of the hechter stripe in 2020/21, the Jordan PSG home shirt replaces the iconic design and border with a tonal jacquard application. The Parisians' recognisable navy is still the primary colourway, while the white-red-white of the Hechter appears in the sleeve cuffs and the round collar of the crew neck.
2020/21 Paris Saint-Germain Home Shirt
PSG now has a new home kit to showcase for the 2020-2021 season. The kit has a celebratory feel to it given its subtle "Paris Saint-Germain - 50 ans" text that appears on both sides of the main body, directly acknowledging the club's 50th anniversary. On top of that, the home shirt also brings back an iconic design introduced by fashion designer and former club president Daniel Hechter in 1973. The Hechter design sees the new home kit in its traditional blue colour marked by a very wide red band running down the middle of the body and outlined by white stripes on its flanks. The result is a shirt clearly inspired by the French flag.
The band is interrupted though in the centre to give way for the white ACCOR LIVE LIMITLESS logo and branding. The Swoosh on the right chest is white and the PSG crest on the left chest is in full colours. The cuffs and the collar also feature a Hechter template, with the cuffs being primarily white with a red stripe in the centre and the collar being blue with a white stripe in the running across the middle. A small French flag is added on the bottom of the left side.
Men's Paris Saint-Germain Shirt
Daniel Hechter also designed the club's iconic Eiffel Tower crest. In 1980 PSG wore a white home shirt and in the 90's the Hechter design was re-introduced by American kit supplier Nike which has remained ever since.
Founded in 1970 PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) play in the French La Championnat. The team plays their home games at the 49,000 capacity Parc des Princes ground, in Paris.
PSG have played in France's top division since 1974 and have won the league twice in 1986 & 1994. Paris have won the French Cup on five occasions and progressed on to win the now defunct European Cup Winners Cup Winner's cup after one national success.
PSG wear a home kit of blue shirts with a thick red stripe bordered by white just to the right of the shirt with blue shorts & socks. PSG have won the Ligue 1 title on several occasions as well as several Coupe de France and Coupe de le Ligue titles.
