Loic Remy is a French international footballer who plays for Premier League club Chelsea. Remy is an out and out striker as his clinical finishing and speed make him one of the deadliest in the world. He has made several appearances for France including playing for the Under-20 and 21 sides. He stands at 1.84 metres tall.
He began his career at Lyon where he played two seasons before moving on to Nice. He played just 15 matches for Lyon. At Nice he made a name for himself as he netted 28 goals in 74 matches. He also went on loan to Lens where he scored four goals in 12 matches. In 2010 he moved to French giants Marseille where he enjoyed a successful time at the club scoring 39 goals in 95 matches. He won the Ligue title in 2006-07 and 2--7-08 with Lyon and also the 2010-11 Coupe de la Ligue with Marseille.
In January 2013 he signed a four and a half year deal with Premier League battlers QPR rejecting a deal with Newcastle United. He made his debut on the 19th of January 2013 and scored as well in a match that ended 1-1 with rivals West Ham United. For the 2013-14 season Remy signed a one year loan deal with Newcastle United. In the summer of 2014 Remy signed for Chelsea.
