Franck Ribery is a French footballer who currently plays for Bayern Munich. Having spent his first four seasons of his career playing with four different clubs in his home country, Ribery opted to move to Turkish outfit Galatarasay for a short spell as he returned to Olympique de Marseille after one season. Ribery has become one of the world's best players after he won the European Player of the Year in 2013.
Ribery made an impressive 68 appearances in all competitions and he managed to score 14 goals and helped Marseille finish runner-up to Olympique Lyonnais in the same season. After his impressive run for the French team, Bayern Munich offered him a four-year deal for a record .25 million.
He was also part of France's team in the World Cup 2006 and played in the final lost to Italy. Ribery's excellent performances in the league earned him the French League Young Player of the Year in 2006 and his acceleration and pace are definitely difficult to control.
