Rotherham United or The Millers as they are known play their home games in red shirts with white sleeves, white shorts and red socks. The Rotherham United shirt is yet to feature in top flight football or to lift any significant silverware.

Rotherham United FC, were formed by the merger of two Rotherham clubs in 1925; Rotherham FC (1870) later known as Rotherham Town and Thornhill (1877) who renamed to Rotherham County. The present club play at the 7,900 capacity Millmoor Stadium in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Gladstone Guest holds the record for the most number of goals with 130 and Danny Williams holds the record for the most number of appearances with 621. Famous supporters include Howard Webb, Chris Wolstenholme, Dean Andrews and Jamie Oliver.

Rotherham United are nicknamed 'The Millers' and they currently play in League One after they were promoted in the Football League Two in the 2012-13 season and they wear red shirts with white sleeves much like Arsenal FC's shirt design. Originating in 1925 Rotherham United first wore a yellow shirt with black trim the switched to their current red shirt with white shorts in the late 1930s and their shirts are supplied by Puma who have manufactured their shirts for over three seasons.
