Morgan Schneiderlin is a French footballer who plays in midfield for Premier League giants Manchester United and the France national team. Schneiderlin is admired throughout European football for his vast attributes which include a combination of passing range, technique, long shooting, tackling, and great stamina which showcases the player as one of the most effective modern day central midfielders in the game.


Born in Zellwiller, Alsace, Schneiderlin began playing competitive football to develop and refine his clear talent with the regions major club RC Strasburg of which he spent the years from 1995-2005. Progressing through the youth ranks and posing as one of the club's potential stars, Schneiderlin made his first team debut in 2006 however only made five appearances with the side before impressing onlooking scouts of which included then Championship club Southampton who secured the player's services in a deal worth £1.2 million. From the get-go Schneiderlin was an integral part of the Saints midfield and acted as a key figure in gaining the club promotion to the illustrious Premier League in 2011/12. Three seasons with the red and white of Southampton showcasing his wonderful gifts for all in the Premier League to see, Schneiderlin would attract attention from bigger clubs Tottenham and Manchester United, however it was the latter that placed a significant offer of £24 million of which was subsequently accepted and saw the player arrive at Old Trafford ready to adorn the trademark red shirt.



Now a member of the 'Red Devils' Schneiderlin hopes to continue his fabulous form as seen with Southampton and help United to push for Premier League crowns and reach the latter stages of domestic and European cup competitions.

Making his debut for France in 2014, Schneiderlin has a tough task of retaining a place in the French midfield due to several highly talented players in that position however if he can find the performances he possesses a place could open up for the player.
