AC Siena is a football club based in Siena, Italy. The club was founded in 1904 and plays their home games at Stadio Artemio Franchi, Siena, Italy. They are currently playing in the Serie A and in 2003 it was their first return to top Italian football action after last appearing amongst the Italian best teams in 1946. The club plays in striped black and white shirts and are affectionately known as Bianconeri and Robur.

The club has retired the number 4 jersey after Michele Mignani last played in it in 1996-1997 and 1998-2006. Notable former Siena players include Roque Junior, Leandro Cufre, Rodrigo Taddei, Tore Andre Flo, Nicola Ventola and Pinga.
In March 2011, A.C. Siena announced plans to move to a new stadium at Isola d’Arbia, at the southern end of the city. The 20,000 seat stadium features a unique below-ground design and was awarded an MIPIM AR Future Projects Award for 2011.
