Nicknamed the ‘Spurs’, Tottenham wear white home shirts produced by Nike. The shirts are sponsored by AIA who signed a sponsorship deal with the club from the 2014-15 season onwards. Spurs’ away kit had been blue more often than not, but opted for green during the 2020/21 season.

Tottenham Hotspur 23/24 Home Kit

Tottenham Hotspur’s 2023/24 Nike home shirt looked very familiar to all previous home shirts in that the kit was white almost entirely, save for the logos and sleeve cuffs. For this season, the club opted for a navy sleeve cuffs and just plain white for the round collar/neckline, a departure of some sort given that the collar normally had accent details before. The highlight of the show for the 23/24 Spurs home was the tonal patterns said to be inspired by the sounds of N17 and the nation’s broadcasting history.

2022/23 Tottenham Hotspur Home Shirt

Tottenham Hotspur Home 2022/23 KitThe Spurs Nike home shirt of 2022/23 was predominantly white with no other design elements to give emphasis on the makeup of the cuffs and collar. The secondary colours appeared on the sleeve cuffs and round collar, with navy acting as the base accent and volt forming the central striping. The inner side of the collar, which contains SPURS writings in filled and outlined forms, flipped the accent roles. Typical of any major Nike jersey for the season, the Spurs outfit featured a noticeable seam that arches over the chest and touches the endpoint of the round collar. The said strip was Tottenham’s sixth home set from Nike.

Tottenham Hotspur Home 2020/21 KitThe Tottenham Hotspur 2020/21 home kit remained predominantly white and had applications seen in other Nike-produced jerseys. The sleeves were half-white, half-navy, and the laterals of the body contained the Nike zig-zagged design that, in this case, was also navy but with a yellow outline. The same navy/yellow outline combination was applied on the crisscrossed collar as well as the Swoosh and the Spurs logo on the chest area. Across the entire white body were geometrical prints that were light grey.

Spurs, 1885

Initially, the team played in a variety of colours including red and brown. However, in 1899, they changed to a white shirt and navy blue shorts as a tribute to Preston North End, who was the most successful club at the time. The colours have since remained and are still used predominately in Tottenham kits to this day. Arguably the most recognisable period by Spurs was in the 1960’s where they became the first English club to win the double in 1961 winning the English Championship and FA Cup.

In 1983, the new Spurs white home shirt was graced with a sponsor for the first time in the form of Holsten. Since then the club has had numerous other sponsors including Hewlett Packard, Thompson and Mansion. Since producing replica shirts the most popular player shirts include Clive Allen, Teddy Sheringham, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane, Ledley King, Les Ferdinand, David Ginola and Darren Anderton.

Spurs have had their hands on many major trophies and some of those who helped them to their famous double are Danny Blanchflower, Maurice Norman, Dave MacKay, Bobby Smith, Terry Dyson and Bill Nicholson. Today, the team prides itself in having Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham Hotspurs were the first and only team to win the FA Cup as a non-league club, that was in 1901 when Tottenham were in the Southern League. The home shirts were initially based on Preston North Ends shirts due to their dominance in the late 19th century.
