Tottenham who are also known by the nickname 'Spurs' from the Hotspurs part of their name play their home games wearing white shirts. Spurs have had their hands on many major trophies and some of those who helped them to their famous double are Danny Blanchflower, Maurice Norman, Dave MacKay, Bobby Smith, Terry Dyson and Bill Nicholson.

Tottenham Hotspurs were the first and only team to win the FA Cup as a non-league club, that was in 1901 when Tottenham were in the Southern League. The home shirts were initially based on Preston North Ends shirts due to their dominance in the late 19th century.
