Founded in 1893 VFB Stuttgart (Verein fr Bewegungsspiele Stuttgart) play their home games at the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium, in Stuttgart, Germany. The stadium hosts six matches at the 2006 World Cup and has a capacity of 57,000.

Nicknamed 'Die Schwaben', Stuttgart play in the German Bundesliga, they also have hockey, athletics, table tennis and fistball sections to the club. Some of the famous names to have played for the team over the years include; Jurgen Klinsmann, Fredi Bobic, Matthias Sammer and Brazilian Carlos Dunga.

Stuttgart's home shirts are white with a red stripe across the middle, they wear white shorts and socks. The away kit is red shorts and socks, with a red shirt which has a white horizontal stripe.

VfB Stuttgart currently play in the German Bundesliga where they play their home games at the Mercedes-BenZ Arena which holds over 60,000 people. Manufactured by Puma Stuttgart wear white home shirts with red trim and detailing whilst the away shirt is all red with white trim and their third shirt is all black with white trim. Stuttgart last won the Bundesliga in the 2006-07 season where Mario Gomez was the clubs top scorer and the club currently boast several well known players including Serdar Tasci, Cacau and Vedad Ibisevic.
