Swansea City is a football club based in Swansea, Wales. They have played in the different tiers of the English football pyramid, and are one of the few Welsh clubs to have reached the top-flight. Swansea’s Joma home shirt worn in the 2023/24 season had a clear white body that presented a central placement for the logos. The kit marked the return of the traditional badge worn by the club in 1998. In contrast to the clean base of the body, the raglan sleeves were filled with all of the outfit’s visual design, which was a monochrome wavy pattern over a ribbed backdrop. The wave became darker and more prominent toward the outer facet of the sleeves. A dual striping in white and black coloured the collar and sleeve cuffs.

As for their 2023/24 alternate shirt, Swansea had their Joma-produced away in dark teal, displaying a tonal streaking graphics in vertical orientation for its design. Gold accents adorned the logos, which included the classic 1998 crest.

2022/23 Swansea City Home Shirt

Swansea City Home 2022/23 KitSwansea’s home for 2022/23 took inspiration from its primary strip 30 seasons ago. The red and black ‘ripped’ design on the 1992/93 shirt informed the accent colours on the front of the Joma jersey’s polo collar and the jacquard print on the body panel. Black sleeve cuffs with white piping completed the overall look.

 

2021/22 Swansea City Home Shirt

Swansea City Home 2021/22 KitJoma provided the Swans with a two-tone design for their 2021/22 home shirt. First, the sleeve cuffs and the v-collar with front overlap went with a striped pattern of black-white-black colours. Next, the predominantly white body and sleeves contained light grey vertical stripes. The jersey was part of the 40th-anniversary celebration of Swansea’s first entry to top-flight football in 1981.

 

 

2020/21 Swansea City Home Shirt

Swansea City Home 2020/21 KitJoma produced a modern take on the traditional white-and-black colours of the Swansea home kit for the 2020/21 season. The shirt was predominantly white with black detailing. The black accents included the narrow sleeve cuffs, the sides and back of the v collar with a diagonal split, the logos and brandings including the embossed JACK ARMY at the back below the collar, and the wavy dotted graphic at the bottom half of the body and the lower part of the sleeves. The pattern was a representation of the city’s coastline, and also had similarity with the dotted graphic at the heel of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 3. A solid black stripe ran down the laterals of the body. Black shorts and white socks partnered with the white shirt to form the Joma-Swansea 2020/21 home outfit.

2022/23 Swansea City Away Shirt

Swansea City Away 2022/23 KitSwansea’s 2022/23 Joma away was based on the club’s away kit from 1993 to 1995. The jersey had a ‘golden poppy’ orange body with blue side trims. Its raglans sleeves contained a pattern of irregular triangles in the mentioned orange shade and royal blue to provide a modern take on the same visuals found on the retro outfit. Blue sleeve cuffs and polo collar, the latter with a white edge outline, completed the alternate Swansea shirt.

 

 

2021/22 Swansea City Away Shirt

Swansea City Away 2021/22 KitJoma provided the Swans with a two-tone design for their 2021/22 away shirt. First, the sleeve cuffs and the v-collar shared the same striped pattern of black-white-black as that on the home shirt. Next, the predominantly black body and sleeves contained grey zigzag stripes situated close to one another, all flowing diagonally across the entirety of the shirt. The shirt also commemorated the year 1981, the first time Swansea participated in England’s first division football.

Swansea City Away 2020/21 KitThe Joma-Swansea 2020/21 away kit was a predominantly turquoise shirt filled with pink details. The v neck collar was pink from the back and to the sides, with the front part having a colour pattern of pink on the top edge, turquoise stripe in the middle, and turquoise on the lower half. The said colour pattern was the same on the narrow cuffs of the sleeves. The logos and the floral origami print at the lower half of the body, were also pink. JACK ARMY, like in the home kit, was embossed at the backside below the collar. Turquoise shorts and socks completed the new Swansea away outfit.

 

 

Swansea City AFC are a Welsh football Club formed in 1912 as Swansea Town, which later on played in the Football League. Not surprisingly the club nickname is The Swans and with the Swansea’s home kit being white with black edging they can claim to be fittingly attired. The away strip has already seen a variety of designs and colours over the course of time. The Swansea shirt graced the first division under John Toshack in 1983, one of the highest points in the history of the club.

The club’s highest ever honour includes the 2012/13 League Cup title where they beat Bradford City 5-0 in the final, as well as qualifying for the UEFA Europa League once.
