Swindon Town known as 'The Robins' play their home games at The County Ground, Swindon and they wear red home shirts with white trim. Swindon Town first had a hooped red and black home shirt where their plain red home shirt was first seen in the early 20th century and their shirts are manufactured by adidas who have produced their shirts for over five seasons.
Swindon Town (the Robins) were formed in 1881, and turned professional in 1894 joining the Southern League which was founded in the same year. Town play their home games in the 15,728 capacity County Ground in Wiltshire.

Swindon play their home games in a kit of red shirts, shorts and socks. The Swindon shirt have appeared in many cup finals, they were Dubonnet Cup Winners in 1910, Charity Shield Runners-up 1911, FA Cup Semi-finalists in 1910 and 1912. In more recent times they had their best win the Football League Cup in 1969 and won the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1970. Swindon Town's also made the League Cup Semi-finals in 1995. The club made were promoted to the Premier League under Glenn Hoddle but failed to stay in England's top flight.
