Switzerland Home 2022 KitThe mid-nineties Switzerland teams brought the nation back to the biggest stages of world football, and even reached as high as third in the FIFA rankings. Their shirts were usually accented with white. And so to honour their contributions, the Puma home kit of the 2022 Switzerland side was predominantly red with a white halftone gradient design on the collarbone area, comprising of lines that toned down in width and intensity towards the bottom. There were additional white details such as the logos and the trim on the collar.

Switzerland Away 2022 KitSwitzerland’s 2022 World Cup Puma away is white at the upper part and light grey at the lower half, with a striped transition around the middle. As for its red box number, it is designed with interrupted outlines and rounded corners, in addition to the solid band covering the top and carrying the team crest and national flag on each side. Also in red is the Puma logo, also in the middle.

2020 Switzerland Home Shirt

Switzerland Home 2020 KitThe Puma Switzerland 2020 home shirt was rounded in the neckline, departing from the V-shape of the away uniform. It was also generally red with maroon draping over the entire shoulder area, serving as the background for the pink Pumas on the sides. It also featured the trio of ‘Crafted from Culture’, Puma and Swiss football symbols horizontally placed in respective order on the chest, all sandwiched by thin horizontal lines. The thin horizontal lines themselves seemed to be closely underlined further with equally thin broken lines. These linear patterns appeared again along the midsection, this time sandwiched by single lean lines. A pink Suisse branding was on the back of the collar, and the rest of the backside shared the same red shade as that of the front.

Switzerland Away 2021 KitThe 2021 Puma Switzerland away kit was primarily white with red as the only other colour accent popping out from the design elements and logos. While still placed centrally on the chest, the symbols are now vertically lined up instead of horizontally like previous away jerseys. From top to bottom, the order was the Puma Cat, the SUISSE branding (the native language wording of Switzerland), and the national flag. Like the Puma away kits launched at that time, the Switzerland away jersey has shoulder linings and horizontal ones, one beside the nation’s text.

2020 Switzerland Away Shirt

Switzerland Away 2020 KitThe Swiss National Football team now have a 2020 away kit.

Prominent in the white away 2020 Switzerland shirt created by Puma was the crisscrossing of four multi dotted inverted Vs that looked inspired by the Swiss Alps of the Alpine Region, though it was also said that they represented the four official languages of Switzerland, namely, German, French, Italian, and Rhaeto-Romanic. From left to right, the inverted Vs were coloured with light shades of pink, green, purple, and maroon. Above the Alps-like design, right in the chest area, were the Swiss national football confederation symbol on the left, the maroon Puma cat on the middle, and the maroon ‘Crafted from Culture’ symbol on the right. The V-neck collar was also maroon with a white Suisse branding and also stopped right at the shoulder-front body panel demarcation line, similar to that of the Italian away jersey.
