League One club Tranmere Rovers are nicknamed the 'Superwhites' as their home kit comprises of an all white kit with blue trim which is manufactured by Fila and sponsored by Wirral. The club play their home games at Prenton Park in Tranmere which holds over 16,000 people with the clubs original kits being blue with white knickerbockers and the white home shirt was first seen in the early 1960s.
Nicknamed just Rovers, they play their home games in white shirts with blue trim, white shorts and socks. The Tranmere away strip is all yellow, with black piping. The colours have been donned by several well known names in the game such as: William Ralph Dean who started his career at the Tranmere, before becoming a goal scoring legend (Dixie Dean) at Everton as well as Roy McFarland and Steve Coppell who both played at international level and then went into management.

Tranmere Rovers Football Club was formed in 1885 as Belmont Football Club they are from Birkenhead on Merseyside and play their home games in the 16,587 capacity Prenton Park.
Tranmere Rovers play heated rivalries against Bolton Wanderers, Chester City and Everton and the club's highest honour was Winner in the Third Division North and they have been in several FA Cup quarter-finals.
