Wales 2018 Shirts

Wales played their first international against Scotland on the 26 March 1876 in Glasgow losing 4 - 0. The Wales national football team´s only World Cup appearance was in 1958, when they drew all their matches in their group and reached the Quarter-finals, losing 1-0 to Brazil. Wales have never qualified for the European Championship, last losing in the playoffs for a place in Euro 2004. Wales play their home fixtures at The Millennium Stadium, in Cardiff.

The Welsh play in a home strip comprising of a red shirt. The red shirt is worn with pride by all players but with few stars they struggle to beat the big nations.

Neville Southall with 86 appearances has pulled the red shirt on the most and Ian Rush is the highest goal scorer with 28.

Wales or 'The Dragons' currently wear an all red kit with white trim on the shoulders and sleeve hems which is manufactured by adidas. Wales who currently boast world class players including Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey play in the UEFA Confederation.
