Kyle Walker is a defender for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, where his squad number is 28. He has represented England at age group and senior international level. Walker was born on the 28th May 1990 in Sheffield.
It was at Sheffield United where Walker would spend his youth career before being signed to the senior squad. A month long loan at Northampton Town gave him a taste of first team football, before he returned to the blades to help with their run in to the end of the season. In July 2009, Tottenham Hotspur signed Walker and fellow Sheffield teammate Kyle Naughton.
He was immediately loaned back to the blades and made 26 appearances for his home side before rejoining Tottenham to make his debut for the club in a 2-0 win over Portsmouth on the 28th March 2010. Two more loans at Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa followed before Walker established himself in the starting line up for Tottenham in the 2011/12 campaign. Walker's club highlight came as he hit a 30 yard screamer against London rivals Arsenal to give Spurs an important 2-1 victory.
Walker was a starter in the England U-21 side which competed at the 2011 UEFA Euro U-21 Championship. Even though the team was knocked out in the first round, Walker impressed and was named in the Team of the Tournament. He has since been called up to the senior squad by Fabio Capello and came on as a substitute for Scot Parker in England's 1-0 win over World Cup winners Spain on the 12th November 2011.
