The club have two nicknames the 'Baggies' probably derived form the baggy shorts they wore and the Albion from their name. The baggies play in a home shirt of navy blue and white stripes.
Albion´s league scoring record is still held by William Richardson with 39 goals in the old division one during 1935-36 season. There has been plenty to celebrate since then, with the likes of Jeff Astle, Geoff Hurst, Bryan Robson and Laurie Cunningham pulling on the Albion shirt in the last few decades. Funny man Frank Skinner is one of the clubs famous fans.
