Wrexham 23/24 Kits

Wrexham 23/24 Home

Wrexham 2023/24 Macron home shirt was the first kit sponsored by the United Airlines under the Reynolds/McElhenney era. The outfit was predominantly red with white collar and sleeve cuffs, both containing parallel red and green pinstripes near their edges. In addition, the front featured an embossed pattern of grouped pinstripes, interrupted randomly by the Welsh Dragon (ddraig goch). The Welsh symbol also featured near the nape, with an embossed ‘WRECSAM’ also reading out from the back near the hemline. Besides United Airlines, printing services VistaPrint was also a sponsor for the shirt and had their corporate livery appear at the back.

Wrexham Home 2022/23 KitWrexham wore a full-red home shirt in their 2022/23 season. The Macron shirt was sponsored by Tiktok and featured a dual pinstriping on the upper edge of the sleeve cuffs as the only added design element. However, the shirt also featured a subtle embossed pattern of the Welsh dragon on the sleeves. It sure was a memorable shirt given that the club won promotion back to the EFL after 15 years. They secured the feat in their second season under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

With its base colour, the secondary strip gave the club a contrasting cool kit to their bold, fiery primary strip. The light blue primary colour enabled the application of navy accents such as the sponsor and technical partner logo, as well as the round collar. White sleeve cuffs with navy piping finished off the overall look.

Nicknamed the Red Dragons or the Robins, Wrexham plays with red shirts. Following the club’s high profile takeover, they achieved a return to the Football League after fifteen seasons in 2023.

They have been playing with red shirts since the 1930s. White is the usual accent colour of Wrexham shirts, though in the 2014/15 season the club wore a Nike home shirt with red and black hoops in honour of their first-ever recorded home kit. Arfon Griffiths and Tommy Bamford are some of the finest players to represent the red Wrexham shirt.

Wrexham and their red shirts share an intense traditional rivalry with Chester, a side with blue and white striped shirt, in what is known as Cross-Border Derby. Another club considered to be an arch enemy of Wrexham is Shrewsbury Town, which also wear a striped shirt, this time in blue and yellow.
