Zenit Saint Petersburg are a Russian football club based in Saint Petersburg and they are one of the most dominant clubs in Russian football. With four Russian Leagues in the bag the club currently have several world class players in their roster including Hulk, Danny, Aleksandr Kerzhakov, Andrei Arshavin, Axel Witsel, Anatoliy Tymoschuk, Roman Shirokov and Vladimir Bystrov. The club have owrn a combination of sky blue and white shirts in their history.
Called Zenit St. Petersburg in English, reports differ as to when the club was formed, most sources say 1925 but some say 1914. The club was born from several other Russian teams merging together.
