Celtic FC currently plays in the Scottish Premiership and is one of the most dominant clubs in the said league. Celtic wear green and white hooped home shirts and a variety of green, yellow, white and black away and third kits. The club is also one of the few to breach the ‘100’ mark in terms of total trophies won, besting even some of today’s recognised strong teams like Bayern Munich and Manchester United. A Celtic kit, with its bespoke hoop design, is seen in action most especially when the club host their home games at the over 60,000-capacity Celtic Park.

Purists of the Hoops appreciated the treatment of the bespoke design in 2024/25. Green rectangular bands formed unadulterated, showcasing the pattern in its glorified simple construction. This also helped make the secondary accent compliment the overall design. Black curving trims toward the sides of the shirt added understated elegance. Besides the black stripes around the shoulders, the black rear half of the collar also contributed some visual activity, courtesy of the green Celtic knot design that it housed.

Celtic Home 2023/24 KitThe Celtic FC 2023/24 adidas home stayed true to identity, running a hooped design in green and white. But the green hoops for this edition of the primary strip incorporated a modern element, suiting up with ragged edges and with aesthetics inspired by the stained glass window around the original entrance to the stadium. Black accents from the sleeve cuffs, extended template shoulder stripes and collar, along with a Celtic cross on the back neck of the jersey, signed off the look of the shirt.

Celtic Home 2020/21 KitScottish giants Celtic FC’s adidas 2021/22 home kit featured their iconic hoops design, a look wherein green and white stripes went around the entire shirt, including the sleeves, horizontally. The design was crispier and cleaner compared to that of Sporting Lisbon’s. Yellow pipings appeared on the edges of the sleeves and the round neckline. White hoops fell on the shoulder to highlight relatively narrower green stripes, an element seen in other recent adidas kits. A gold star shone above the team symbol to commemorate the club’s record as the first British club to win the European Cup.

Celtic Away 2023/24 KitFrom the active design of the home shirt came the relatively plain look of the Celtic’s 2023/24 adidas away. It was black from front to back, and the template extended stripes on the shoulders had a dark toned viridian shade. Because of the dimmed aura of the shirt, much visibility was afforded to the sleeve cuffs and collar’s makeup, comprised of two rows of repeating micro diagonals, with each line divided into white and the abovementioned shade of green.

This was evident with the dark base and the white borders of the thin green vertical stripes, as well as the shield surrounding the Celtic crest. Adidas gave additional green details to the round collared jersey, such as the template shoulder stripes and sleeve cuffs.
