Rotherham United maintained that Arsenal-like red body-white sleeve setup for their 2023/24 Puma home. This year’s novelty to the traditional look was the silhouette of the New York Stadium on the body, giving the outfit a tonal graphics design. The white sleeve cuffs had a singular red middle striping, with the said accenting detail also present parallel to the tip of the polo collar and the neckline liner, which was also white.

Rotherham United’s 2022/23 home strip had a red body and white standard sleeves. Both the sleeve cuffs and round collar featured in black with offset white striping. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the club’s home stadium, a sublimated graphic of the AESSEAL New York Stadium on the front side served as the highlight design, which was expertly hand drawn by The Graphic Bomb. Puma was the kit maker of this Rotherham United outfit.

The Millers wore a traditional-looking Puma home jersey for the 2021/22 season. The shirt had the usual red body and white sleeves colour pattern but added a dynamic look through the white pinstripes on the front side. Like other Puma shirts, a mesh panel (white with red side borders) appeared centrally on the raglan sleeve construction. Narrow sleeve cuffs and template round collar completed the jersey.

The Millers wore a predominantly yellow Puma change strip for 2022/23. The jersey took inspiration from 1993/94 away and, as such, features a tigeresque print on the front. The graphic and its black-on-yellow application also evoked some semblance to Borussia Dortmund’s 2020/21 home kit. Completing the design was the offset yellow striping on the black sleeve cuffs and v-collar.

Rotherham United’s Puma away shirt subscribed to the year’s template used by the kit maker for other away outfits. It had the strip border for the mesh panel around the back of the neck, the narrow sleeve cuffs, and the rear-front split of the collar. The said elements provided a red accent to the predominantly grey base that was light and plain on the raglan sleeves, and dark and visually textured on the front body.

Rotherham United FC were formed by the merger of two Rotherham clubs in 1925; Rotherham FC (1870) later known as Rotherham Town and Thornhill (1877) who renamed to Rotherham County.
